Infinite use of a single Emergency Broadcast Receiver (working as of July 22, 2020)

I found this information on another sub dedicated to this magnificent game.

This is clearly a bug and unintended; it must have something to do with the way that the game checks your inventory upon turning in the associated items after completing a derilect.

When you enter the system where you want to use your Emergency Broadcast Receiver, of you activate it and then immediately put it in your personal refiner attached to your backpack, you can then pulse to find the derelict and then complete it as normal. LEAVE IT IN YOUR PERSONAL REFINER THE WHOLE TIME. When you get back to the space station, take it OUT of your personal refiner, then turn in the two items for either nanites or rep. You'll notice that your Receiver is now "inactive" and ready to be used again.
