Recommended not working?
I'm sure it's just another day of Youtube incompetency but what the hell just happened to my recommended videos on the home page? Not five minutes ago I was getting recommendations for channels I consistently watch and related subject matter.
Now I got nothing but random crap. I know MrBeast is a nice guy but I've never watched a single video of his so why do I have three recommended videos from him from over seven months ago? Why is SSniperWolf being pushed so hard on me? F*** off Jimmy Kimmel Live, if I had to watch a late night comedian it wouldn't be you.
It's like if you went into private/incognito mode, you're whole viewing history is just wiped and youtube shows you whatever they want. Their Polymer layout is already s***, if recommendations don't even work why the hell am I still here?
EDIT: Recommended just flat out isn't working anymore apparently. I'm searching and watching a lot of the channels I'm subbed to and regularly watch and recommended will list relevant stuff for about 10 minutes and then I'll refresh the home page and it's back to random crap.

Okay are you on console on mobile?, if you're on Console make sure you're signed in because it's signs you out occasionally (it does it to me sometimes)
Desktop
That's strange I've never had that issue on desktop, the only reason I know it would do that is if you're signed out, in incognito, or somehow it's switched your YouTube account to your email YouTube account that you get when you first make one, if you go to the History Section and tap on your account icon you can switch accounts.
