i just got off the phone with a tier 3 agent.
i was approved by a judge for benefits. in eligible. but my last two jobs are what's holding me back, and because of that, i'm still in adjudication, but 10/12 of my weeks are pending. i quit one of the jobs because i moved to another city at the end of january, and recently i quit my second job (back in march) because i kept getting sick with fevers and other symptoms the night after work. (i should mention i'm high risk and worked at a very busy grocery store, where no one respected the 6 feet rule. the first day i worked was before people wore masks.) i only worked two days, but they were spread out weirdly because i had to quarantine and i was ill. the tier 3 agent said the reason i haven't fully been approved is because i still need to be interviewed by the adjudicators. they were supposed to contact me within 7-10 business days as of july 16th, but today's the 11th day, and nothing. he said sometimes their boss tells them to set everything down and focus on one thing collectively, which is why they can't always follow through with their time windows, but if they tell you they will call you back, they will call you back.
so now i'm nervous i won't get approved for leaving my jobs even though i had valid reasons. great!
