Go FAS makes sense. Then you'd have 2, 12, 22, and 32

If so, it would probably be the 02. There was already a 02 car the years they ran the 06 IIRC

The economics of fielding a Cup car have changed quite a bit since then.
4 cars is actually cheaper than 3, apparently. So I wonder if 5 cars would be cheaper than 4 (21 car)
No, 4 cars are NOT cheaper than 3. There is SOME equipment that carries over that can be used by multiple teams which makes adding an additional team much cheaper than starting a team from scratch. But even with all of the existing infrastructure in place for Penske to add a 4th team means additional haulers, highly paid crew chief, car chief, engineers and pit crew. Charter flights to and from the race track etc.
