Wade wrote ONE email to Farah about the current state of tubenet. I saw it, it was a heartfelt, honest letter, nothing demeaning or insulting. He sent a PM first, but the board went down right afterwards, so I suggested he email her instead, in case she couldn't access her PM box for a while (remember, she originally posted that tubenet "might" be back up tonight.
She banned him for harassment. UN FREAKING BELIEVABLE

That is not good :( I was holding out that things be turned around. Elephant was just recently pointed out as an incredible resources of tubenet :(

Wade is a good dude. Sharing lots of photos and details on tuba work he’s been doing. That’s a lot of time and effort he’s invested and even more so to share the content with others.

This entire situation is unbelievable. I'm not a reddit user, just signed up, but I hope the forum gets regenerated in another form (maybe not on Reddit b/c I seriously can't see Bloke signing up for Reddit) but please keep everyone posted. Clearly Tubenet will be no more in a few months as it will just merge with the FB groups and Reddits dedicated to this topic. Or vice versa, but the effect will be the same.
Yeah; I'm afraid there's no saving it from self-destruction at this point.

The new standards appear to include locking me out of the Repair Forum. They just said "General Chatter" isn't coming back. But I get the feeling that they'll have some off-topic threads again someday that will be TubeNet sanctioned.
Wow. I sorta was giving Farah the benefit of the doubt through this until now. I assumed she wanted to be supportive and inclusive and use her forum to make a statement, and she has just gone about it ham-fistedly.
But if you ban Wade from Tubenet, you have no idea what Tubenet is. Wade is a gentleman and a scholar. And I don't just say that because I play out of his Christmas arrangements every year...
