So ive been running some games with colorless items for some time now and i thought to myself that an option to make all mutations colorless and scale with highest stat would be cool and allow for some funny combos.
Thoughts?

That would make sense, yeah. I'm sure a lot of Brutality builds would be helped by a colorless Necromancy.
In case you are on steam there is a mod for colorless mutations. But this would indeed be a nice custom mode option.

Eh, a lot of them are good off color. Combo, Tranquility (and sometimes Support), Blind Faith, just to name a few.

So why is that good off color? It’s not gonna scale if you aren’t putting scrolls in brutality.
Cuz 15% extra dmg even at 1 point in Brutality is still pretty decent. Most Tactics mutes would pair well with it and Survival's offensive mutes aren't very good especially if you dont want to go shield. And you'll have a few points in red towards the end of the run if you're doing it right.
