It's really hard to tell from the fairly low-resolution photos exactly what imagery they're using, but it seems like it's the same tired old vector tracing that Vapor95 uses, just modified to repeat. Disappointing. Compared to the original cups, that imagery is very patchy and polygonal, especially the noise/dotting around the edges. On the cups, the dots are circular and look like paint flicked off a brush or surf spray; in the vector, they're overly large, blotchy triangles.

I'm serious. Go look for a picture of the actual cups. Don't look on Amazon; most of the items listed there are non-Solo knockoffs which are, themselves, printed from that bad vector tracing. Look for an actual Solo part number: SCCR9NJ or SCCR12NJ. Here's one listing. Compare that to the copycat image I'm talking about. Almost every detail is wrong.

For Solo themselves to be using knockoff imagery for their own brand is insulting.

Oh, and so is $30 Canadian shipping for a $45 hoodie.

I have no idea what you're talking about but you sound authoritative so I trust your opinion on the matter.

They probably didn’t want to have to give more money to the person (I believe it was a woman?) who designed that pattern. Cheap bastards.

But I agree with you. It’s definitely not the same art at all.
