I like it ! Good work
Appreciate it!
looks good! Though I have a couple of questions as im developing a top down game myself.
Thanks! For your questions:
Lily's Item Shop is a game about Lily's venture as a shopkeeper, and hiring heroes to explore dungeons in action RPG gameplay, being developed in Game Maker.

Very cute though the game seems very early development still. Is this your first title? Have you made anything else before (Even if it's a little RPGmaker game or something?)
Not to turn this into an interrogation. I'm actually just interested in the life and adventures of small game makers!
Also, have you played similar games like Moonlight and Recettear? What do you imagine your game might do different from those?
This isn't the first title I've created, but it's definitely my biggest one. I have published some small games in the past with okay-ish reach, but that's many years ago, so decided to try and make something that people might actually love.
Feel free to ask whatever you want :)
I have played both of them actually! I feel that Recettear was very interesting for the first few hours, and you could have finished the whole thing without even going to the (underdeveloped) dungeons. Whereas Moonlighter had good polish, nice combat, but had no strong drive for you to go to dungeons, and the shop part was very easy to figure out and had not much development down the line.
The TL;DR is this game's focus is to get the best of both games, while expanding on the mechanics, and adding different ways to experience an RPG shop.
Oh, and if you have any suggestions, please share with me!
Neat! I've done this with a pixel art stickman and that was hard enough. So good work.
You just messing with characters or is this girl supposed to be in a game you're making?
Thank you! This is an actual game project I'm working on, it's called Lily's Item Shop. Be sure to check it out, I left the links in another comment.
