So I need to register, to be invited, to be able to pre-order, which is already an advanced way of ordering?

You must pre-order your pre-order in order to order your console

You can still pre order at retail, right?

I assume so, but the article doesn't say

Fuck preorder I’m waiting a year before I get one . It’s what I did with the 3 and 4 . By then it typically comes down in price and maybe a bundle with a cool game.

Yes, I know pre-orders make a lot more sense for consoles with limited numbers than for digital games, but this headline nearly gave me a brain aneurysm.

Also, according the article, you're not guaranteed to receive an invite (it depends on your playstation activity, for example), and those invites are time-limited, so you might not even be able to pre-order

The gen after: "if you weren't born into the gamer caste, you may not even gaze upon the ps6. In fact, I am being arrested right now for informing you degenerates that it even exists."
