Provider says NO Insurance covers Maui Jims?

Hi,

I was ready to pick out some new precsription sunglasses today but the provider said Maui Jim frames and lenses are not covered by any insurance.. But I do have a discount of 20% for their frames.

It didn't seem right to me so I went home (they were closing) and made a call to Aetna who says they cover all no matter what brand and I am covered for any. Has anyone heard of this before? Thanks.
