We are at episode 9, and the only comments from the producers that I remember seeing being given about Hanbin are that he has sparkly eyes and a good attitude.
As Hanbin being my second pick (Niki is my ult) it’s disheartening to see his talent and potential being wasted. Idk if it’s straight up xenophobia from mnet (CJ) but I feel like he should at least be acknowledged in the show...it’s almost as if he is invisible
Koreaboo and Allkpop all post about this issue...Hanbin debut
He deserves. He pulled off a high note despite being a rapper in the first ep, but Mnet didn't even bother to show his face in his part.
I don't blame the fans, if the I-land management team wants to promote their planned debut trainees to give them exposure, and use other trainees for views, at least give them a fare shares of chance. Poor those young trainees went through stress and hardship for nothing.
That why winner, ikon survival show was great. The team was already planned and just exposure was needed.
it’s like they’re just using him to get global viewers and then they’ll throw him away 😭😭
That's pretty much how they used Nicholas and the J-line tbh.
Can’t blame them. He’s doing really well, has been consistently improving and is a positive hyung participant for the younger ones to look up to, yet the PD’s are constantly dismissive of him and only shower praise on their fixed favorites.
Mnet being mnet
It wouldn’t even be as bad if he wasn’t the ONLY one in his unit to get no critique, but they continue to ignore how he’s literally one of the best performers in there (it’s even worse considering his lack of producer critiques shown in past episodes)! He also had amazing vocals within Dive into You, but they continually cut to other trainees during his parts to the point I didn’t even realise he sang the amazing high note until I saw his fancam! Hanbin fans (and I-Land fans in general) we need to keep talking and show through voting we won’t let him be ignored and mistreated!!!
I don't hate any I-Landers, I even support them. But if the producers already have their final line up for the new BG, I think they should put them to debut now :) They don't have to bring out my Hanbin for a view, it really hurts to see them see him as a joke =(( My Hubi deserve better!!!
As they should be. I was super pissed, too.
I doubt Mnet will listen though. I don't trust them.
They put him in the teaser for episode 9 for one of his parts, and then omitted him in the same part in the aired version. They obviously know what they are doing, and I'm livid.
Right now I'd even appreciate if Hanbin got J line's evil edit instead 😭
Just give me something 😭
I'm not even mad about not getting enough screentime in the ep, it's okay we got plenty of Hanbin in ep 8 but atleast focus the Camera on him when he's the one singing! He had so many lines yet the camera focused on him only once in the beginning! This is all over part 1 again now! And don't even get me started on the producer's feedback.
No offense to the evil editing victims but Hanbin seems like he’d be really hard to evil edit. It’d be like oh no baby boy tries to be intimidating 🥺🥺
The thing is Hanbin doesn't complain, he's always nice, happy for other achievement and understanding. The boy is just trying his best for the performance most of the time. They can't pull out anything controversial from him and since he got a lot of love for ep.8, it's better to keep him invisible
They are intimidated with Hanbin's growth!
I know right!
The most evil thing he did was that he broke an innocent banana!😂
🤣 i laughed at the subtitle on screen said “my banana is broken” and he looked so sad 🤣, someone said in vietnamese, spoil/overripe and broken use the same word in Vietnamese language, so Hanbin used the wrong word, he meant the banana is overripe.
AHAHAHAH so cuteeeee

I am a yg stan so I secretly wish yg recognize his skill and take hanbin in as trainee, ok ok a fan can dream right
they don't mean ikon's hanbin. they mean i-land's hanbin.
Kpop fans should really learn the meaning of mistreatment...
As they should. Hanbin is an amazing human being with a great personality and strong skills. Why is mnet treating him this way. They just don’t like him. Anyways Hanbin debut
