What is "Inventory"?
I recently was given an opportunity for more hours by working at a different store for a few days during "Inventory". I immediately said yes, but I have no idea what inventory is and what I'm expected to do. Do I just do the same things I usually do as a Sales Associate (which seems to be mostly zoning besides when they have a cart in the back that needs stocked.)

Oof. It’s nice to get extra hours but damn, working inventory or remodel are rough. So they are going to count everything in the store. Everything. Everything from Zoning to how the freezers look will need to be 100%.
If they did it properly and scanned each item instead of scanning the first item and counting the rest, it wouldn't matter if the whole store was in a pile in the middle of the floor. We just had inventory spent days afterwards counting items that were SKIPPED! Not counted wrong, totally skipped! Over $10k in just Electronics. The count was off in the thousands in toys too.
