Top 5
Ok so Crim is obviously #1 but who’s 2-5?
I got:
- Scump
- Karma
- Clay
- Formal
Biased of course with scump over karma but I genuinely believe that 3 rings hype is played out.

People are really moving up clay over 3 online matches across 2 weekends 🤯
I’m fine with him being over Formal at #4 but I deadass saw someone put him at #2 and almost lost my mind
Curious how clay is above formal just cause of rings?
That’s the way some people think yea it’s hilarious
There's definitely weight to it
People try to act like winning a ring in cod is the same as sports for some reason never understood it
Because Champs wins have to count at least a little more than normal event wins, and Clay’s only 4 total event wins behind FormaL if online counts for both of them.
Clay has won B2B Champs and outplaced FormaL at every Champs SINCE FormaL won in IW.
He’s also won an equal amount of normal events in the time since that 1,400 day drought ended to the number that FormaL has won since IW Champs, even without counting online performances this year, as Dallas and Chicago both won a LAN this year and Clay won 2 in BO4 to FormaL’s 2 post IW win.
Deadass bro
For me they were basically neck and neck before this year. You can say all these events don’t have much weight (I agree though champs should have some distinction) but simply the fact that Clayster will now be referred to as a 3 time puts him ahead imo.
My list 1. Karma 2. Crim 3. Scump 4. Clay 5. Formal
Formal and clay sre interchangeable to me.
Praying the GOAT comes back for Cold War
For me as played and am to me hes the goat for different reasons outside of achievements.
Formal over Clay
Just funny how the community went from “this ring won’t count” to “omg is clay t2 all time now?” I knew it would happen lol.
He put clay at 4. I think clay already had an argument for this spot before the win. He’s been able to win on teams with different players and wasn’t on the OG dynasty. Formal had scump throughout jet packs which was unfair

Imagine having someone T4 who didnt win for almost 4 years and has less events wins than the guy you have 5th and has been better than clay in every game.
that was my argument, Clay is great but he had a 1500 day losing streak and he’s never been like, the TOP player in any game so it’s hard to even put him top 3
Yea that actually blows my mind how people have clay over Formal over an online tourney
I mean, there’s an argument there regardless don’t get me wrong, I just think it’s blasphemous to have Clay in the top 3
Formal is six tournament wins ahead, but also 2 rings behind. Clay is also the only pro to win a ring with all three studios (Treyarch, Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer).
Droughts also just don't matter that much, Aches is on a mega drought right now along with Karma and that doesn't really seem to affect them. It's hard to win when there's a dynasty in place, people act like clay is expected to win against the OG Dynasty.
I think Karma is two 3.Scump 4.Clay 5.Formal 6. Aches or JKap(people forgot how dominate and consistent Kap back in the day)
I have an amazing memory and have watched COD since MW2...JKap was only ever dominant/consistent in MW2.
Are you forgetting headband godkap from bo1
I don't think being a top player in a game where eGo had Pro Points justifies someone being T5.
Kap was T3 in BO1 as well. He’s always been at the top for most of his career. He does have the best placing percentage out of any pro. Also has 2 Rings. It’s hard to not have him up there with how well he did for so long even though he didn’t always win.
Crim Scump Karma are t3 UNDISPUTED anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded your forgetting this was ONLINE not LAN.
Crim
Scump
Karma
Formal
Clay
How the fuck is Formal above Clayster? He has like six more tournament wins but 2 fewer rings. Clayster is the only pro to win a ring with Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer, and also gas had way more Boots on the Ground success than Formal. Like I truly don't understand the rationale behind putting Formal above Clayster other than just being a fan of his.
FormaL didn't go 1400 days without a W. Both had similar peaks but FormaLs peak lasted for much longer (2014-2017) Clays peak was 2013-2015, 2 less years than FormaL. and FormaL had an overall higher talent peak than Clay. FormaL is seen as having the best statistical tournament ever at COD Champs 2017., though Clay did have a very good 2015 Champs. FormaL has 7 more tournament wins and started competing 4 years after Clay STARTED (wow). FormaL was apart of the greatest dynasty in COD history, edging out Clays coL. Formal was better at more games than Clay. Ghosts: Formal, AW: Formal, BO3: Formal, IW: FormaL, WW2: FormaL, BO4: Clay, MW: FormaL the more talented player, Clay does have the Online ring though which could bump him but im going to say FormaL was better in MW. So as you see its close, but FormaL was more talented for a longer period and won more than clay even though Clay started 4 years before him. Im gonna have to give #4 to FormaL.
There, you happy?
The problem is you and I are making different lists. You are looking at overall talent for the GOAT, on which case Karma, Crimsix, and Clayster don't belong in the top 5 and a player like Simp may already be in it. If we're making that list, sure Formal is higher on the list.
The list I'm making is holistic taking into account rings, leadership, teamwork, and talent all into one for the rating. Why is Clayster above Formal on this list? If you look at the criteria it's pretty obvious, he has three times the rings as FormaL, has won Champs with 11 different teammates (wow), and is a clear leader on any team whereas FormaL isn't.
If we're doing the skill list, then sure Formal is up there probably #2 behind Scump, but that's not what I meant.
Side note: The whole "started 4 years after" is completely unfair towards Clayster because there were very few real teams and tournaments pre Black Ops 2. Even COD XP in MW3 isn't considered a real tournament because the teams and players were just randomly brought together from GBs with few exceptions and had no developer support. Clay and others were just highschoolers playing GBs as a hobby. There were no "major events" prior to Black ops 2 After which you saw a real pro scene develop where players were getting paid. By your logic Crimsix has been a professional player since CoD 4 when he started playing GBs and local GameStop tournaments. Scump has been a pro player since Modern Warfare 2 when he exploded onto the GB scene. Everyone considers the modern pro scene to have started pro scene began in Black Ops 2, so Clayster has been a pro for 1 year longer than Formal who began in Ghosts. Doesn't change your argument much, but just trying to make it clearer.
Look I take into account everything I’m not making a skill list, I just value skill the most, that doesn’t mean I don’t take into account other things. Formal is more skilled, has won more tournaments, and is the best AR player of all time. He doesn’t have the leadership but he has the skill and accolades to go over Clay for me. Like I said I take into account everything, skill the most though.
Formal was literally better than Clay at every game the both played except BO4. Clay disappeared for 3 years. For me it’s not that hard Formals better all time.
Crim, Karma, Scump, Clay, Formal
I also believe the ring hype is over done. 1. Scump 2. Karma 3. crim 4. Formal. I base this off of pure game skill including gunny and game knowledge
Online doesn’t change the T5 list at all
Pretty good list no complaints from me
Crim scump karma clay formal. Only list that’s correct
Y'all are fickle as hell. How does Crim go over Damon. Damon won 3 Rings on LAN, on better games, and 2 of them were with Crim. Crim has only ever played for the most stacked rosters imaginable
Bottom two need to be switched brotha
Crimsix, Scump, Karma, Formal, Clayster
Crim ( most event wins and 3 rings) Scump (best smg cod player ever plus a freak in all the games except ww2 + huge influence) Karma (the best ever to it, 3 rings on lan) Formal ( best ar cod player ever, 1.44 kd overall iw champs) Clayster ( won bo4 Nd mw champs and aw)
This tournament Clay's stock went up, Formal's went down. The top three are still the same imo with Crim - Karma - Scump.
Crim, Karma, Scump, Clay, Formal.
People really switching the all time list around after an online tourney cmon 🤦♂️
Before this tourney everyone was saying this was not the same as a lan ring but know their shifting all time rankings due to a online tourney 🤨
People are actually deluded lmfao
