Yes, because intense arguments in real life are just like a calm witty Aaron Sorkin-esque exchange rather than 90% confused emotional yelling 😎
When girls think I’m being quiet but in reality I’m saying an Oscar winning voiceover in my head about the current situation
For some reason I read Phantom Thread as Phantom Menace, I don't know what to make of it.
Because you have actual kino on the mind.
William Shakespeare is that you?
I’ve seen 3/4 of these and they’re all masterpieces. And to say that two people screaming at each other isn’t natural or realistic is absurd.
I only watch movies so when friends bring them up in conversation, I can go on a lengthy rant about how they’re wrong for enjoying them
Ha kinda shocked to see my comment here
Last time I was on r/Movies Marriage Story was being jerked off by them super hard. Predictably I check the sub again months later, see the movie being shit on (with upvotes) for being un natural and remembered why I quit the sub to begin with

That is a ridiculous simplification of a very good scene.
That's how fights usually look like.
la la land = more realistic than marriage story
I’ll never forget when my parents got into an argument and started tap dancing, playing piano, and listening to jazz. Then went to follow their dream of opening a club and becoming a famous actress, leaving me behind in the dumpster of a PF Changs
I mean, it's a musical so there will be tap dancing and piano.
