what paints did you get to get started?

I basically used all the colors that were written down on the start collecting box set. Everything was primed with mechanicus standard grey spray paint and then basecoated with zandri dust
• khorne red • nuln oil • evil sunz scarlet • seraphim sepia • ushabti bone • leadbelcher • runefang steel • fulgrite copper • abbadon black • thousand sons blue • baharroth blue • corax white • mephiston red • wild rider red • eshin grey

are there like paint sets or do you have to buy them all at single bottle prices?

As far as i know there aren't any paint sets for these particular ones, but I could be wrong. I just took a really long time painting this one, so I just bought one or two bottles here and there whenever I needed them. In that way at least it didn't feel as expensive in the moment lol.

Just finished it and I'm pretty pleased with it even tough I keep seeing bits here and there that still need to be touched up a bit. I'm also planning to make a nice desert landscape base with a few rocks and maybe a skull or two.
[Edit] Also, sorry for the blurry pics but my new phone has a really bad camera for some reason.
