Pulling image to TV

Seems like this should be easy. I'm trying to pull an image to my smart TV. Testing with a web browser with this string works if I'm logged in ipaddress:81/login.htm?page=%2Fimage%2FBackyard. If I'm not logged in I get the login page. I've tried adding &user=user&pw=password to the end with no luck. Nothing in the manual that I can find.

You can tell BI not to need a user/password for a given IP.

Under Settings, web server, advanced, Limit access by IP..

Put the IP in as "^192.168.1.4"

The caret tells BI not require an ID/password.

I managed to get all my BI cameras on my Apple TV using the WebcamHQ app and this string

http://192.168.1.12:81//mjpg/ShortCameraName?

(I think most CCTV apps would work as long as you're able to put in a custom string for streaming)

Ahh, I bet that will work. Thanks!

Buy a mini pc and use it to log into the BI Web Interface. While in the browser press F11 to make it full screen. Done.

I have a pc plugged in that I use for that. Sometimes I don't want to deal with the computer and pull up a few cameras. I can pull images directly from some of my cameras. Can't figure out the Amcrest, so figured I'd pull directly from Blue Iris.

Just login as a user account on the pc and the BI web interface, leave it logged in and switch to another source. When you want to see your cams switch back to that source. That’s as easy as it gets.

Use a Firestick and install TinyCam, works great. All my cams are Amcrest.

I think there's a better app available than the free one I've got. Guess I'm going to have to remember what it was.

Get the paid version, work's great.

Yes. It's TinyCam Pro. That's what I use.

I should have mentioned that I have a Roku, doesn't seem to have tiny cam. Found IP cam. Seems to work so far.

Another vote for TinyCam. I use the pro version on my ShieldTV and it works great for four cameras.
