Recon Advice
I have always preferred playing recon class in games when possible. Just started playing bf5 after a long stint in borderlands and bf4 prior to that.
Any advice for good sidearms or gadgets? M1011 seems alright. Doesn't seem to have the stopping power as it did from bf4.
Not that thrilled with the current gadgets (I only have spotting scope, flare gun, deploy point so far). Are any of the anti tank options any good?

I’ve sunk plenty of hours into recon and I’ve never changed from: bolt action rifle, model 27, spot flare, and spawn beacon
Thank you. I'll look into the model 27. Ever try out any of the anti tank explosives?
No I haven’t yet because I didn’t play for a while when they came out and once I came back no one was using them so I just thought they were probably garbage

Run smoke grenades, as recon you'll have to run away from a lot of fights and it's good to use to hide from flares.
