Oh wow, a lot of meanings can be interpreted here. The overall flow of the poem was good, those analogies and quotes got me really thinking and it was just honestly pleasant to read. I think we all relate to that little moth, so small but inside them, they may have these ambitious dreams we can't possibly know. Really loved it.

From what I am reading, you are going with a persona poem. I think you illustrated it well. I do wonder if it would have worked better in the form of a pantoum. The title matches up with the poem 100%, and I adore that.

It feels like you created a perfect metaphor with this poem. The hypothetical scenario is somewhat heartbreaking to imagine. I would be loved if it had been bit longer, bit its fabulous the way it isπŸ™ŒπŸ»

I don't understand how someone even comes to consider a moth's perspective, but to go even further and write about it, but also do it so well. The moth that lives an uneventful life might just have that caliber of dream had it been as capable of imagining as we are. It reminds me a lot of "do Androids dream of electric sheep ?", And I love how you capture it in such an interesting way, too. it's as if a moth has ambitions as far as the stars, hopping from one light source to the next, maybe in desperation, maybe in blind, hopeful anticipation, even if it's something we know it'll probably never find, and that's what makes it a little heartbreaking. Especially that last line.

With the only warmth provided being the hope of a bigger candle.

Absolutely incredible. Well done!
