VALORANT settings are weird?

Help

My video resolution is 1680 x 1050 for both games (VAL and AIMLABS) and I feel like my sensitivity is weird. I use the VAL setting for aimlabs, but my aim becomes inconsistent after switching to VALORANT. I saw some threads talking about the same problem but I wanna just clarify once and for all what I have to change for the sensitivity in AIMLABS and Valorant to be 1:1

It appears your post is about the Valorant sensitivity in Aim Lab.

The Valorant sensitivity in Aim lab is 1:1 for most players - However, you may need to make changes if you play on Stretched Res, A non-16:9 aspect ratio, or if playing windowed.

For Stretched Res players - Use the same resolution in Aim Lab that you use in Valorant, and set your Display Stretching Ratio to your native aspect ratio

For Windowed/Non-16:9 players, set your FOV to "103" if you are playing with black bars, otherwise enable "Advanced" field of view settings in the "Controls" menu and set the "H" Value in your "Angle of View" to 103.

Sensitivity is 1:1 for everyone. It's the resolution that alters your perception of it. Valorant forces a 16:9 103 fov no matter what resolution you have, achieved by squishing the game or using black bars, and pretty much no other game does this.

Try the tips from the auto moderator. You will either need to use the standard 103 fov setting, force 103 horizontally with the angle of view setting, or unstretch the resolution using the display stretching ratio (since if valorant detects that you are stretching, it will squish the game first so that stretching returns it to normal).

So you're saying I should force 16:9 resolution to mimic valorant feel? Or did I misunderstand

if u try to change ur aspect ratio in valorant, the fov does not change from 16:9 103° but when you change ur aspect ratio in aim lab, the fov changes, therefore making ur sens feel different. you should use 16:9 in aim lab to accurately replicate valorant
