Came home. Started preparing coffee and saw my roommate trashed his Jersey. He hasn’t left his room and has been eating cookies.

As much as I wanna say that he's incredibly immature... I felt like doing that as well and the only thing that stopped me was the hefty price tag my jersey came with

Yeah I’ll take it if you don’t want it. I think there’s something to be said for sticking with the team. Not this particular team, but more or less the organization. Especially since that’s a Ryan jersey, dude has given our city everything for a decade. Stick with him if nothing else. But I certainly get the frustrations.

Man. I torched mine today. It was a $25 “field authentic” Chinese jersey order from back in the day. I had ordered it because we had switched over to Nike instead of Reebok and I wanted my own new custom jersey with my last name on it. Everything got screwed up with the order and it took months (no surprise as it’s one of “those” orders”) and I got it on my birthday. Well, it wasn’t what I had ordered. I have several of the old Reebok jerseys and wanted a new one. This was one of the old ones years after we had changed vendors. Unfortunately, it we just lost every time I wore it. I continued to wear it because I’m not superstitious. However, I realized later, the Falcons never won a game while I wore it. We lost the super bowl in an incredibly embarrassing defeat. We have continued horrible defensive play and lost multiple games while wearing this jersey. I couldn’t take it any more after today’s loss. I took it out in the back yard and tossed some gas on it and threw a match. To be honest, it went up in flames like our past 8 seasons. I’m a lifelong fan and will continue to be. I’m glad to see that jersey out of my life and wish that DQ and TD would follow in the same fashion. I’m tired of this play. We have WASTED the careers of too many phenomenal athletes and continue to do so. Why is 39 points not enough to win a game? How is that OK? Yes. I know it was immature, and my wife let me know it, but I feel like it was earned.

Does it matter whose jersey it is? Most people are gonna do this in response to team failures and Ryan is on that team. Folks ain’t gonna have bad player’s jersey just sitting around lol. And Dan Quinn jerseys don’t exist.
