Interesting. My 2019 SR+ came with fog lights/HW3, the works.

Yeah you got lucky because I think July and up and they stopped included those :(

Yes, SR+ so it came with just the dummy unit. Purchased these fog lights off eBay and they’re like new! Swapped it out real quick, tapped into the led light strip to make the fog turns on as they are software disabled 😁

Interesting. So software disabled based on date of production/VIN rather than detecting the lights

Any guide or instructions to it? I’m looking to do that as well but have no clue how difficult it is

Yes! I followed this YouTube video to see how I can remove them. That video also shows a different LED option you can install but I didn’t really dig it. After that, I used this forum to get an idea of how to tap in to the 12V wire and that was it!
