Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they release both albums as sister albums. Something like System of a Down’s Mesmerize and Hypnotize except with more sonic differences

i mean we got Beginning of the End which i thought was a great Weezer single even tho it was for a movie

They California Snow’ed us with Beginning of the End. It’s in a movie now, but also an album -with two released singles - that won’t be available for more than 7 months.
In Weezer’s defense, they couldn’t control the postponement. But I also feel like the only reason we got Beginning of the End was because Bill and Ted wasn’t delayed and the song was committed back when the album would have already been out.
I expect Weezer to be radio silent between now and January, where Okay Human will release “unannounced” out of the blue (the blue being a place the fandom has waited patiently for a year now).
Then, VW singles ramping back up in March-May release. Followed by Hella Mega where both albums are promoted by 2-3 songs total.

Fully preparing for Hella Mega to be outright cancelled in most if not all US locations. I wanted to see that lineup so bad but at least we should finally get VW when the tour starts
