I ran the Champions League Draw Simulator 50 times to find our most likely group

I’d actually rather play Atletico. We should polish off the other teams (and make it through) and it’ll be good to get practice against such a deep defense before the knockout stages. There’s also the revenge aspect but group games don’t really mean much. The more we play against them, the better we’ll be at imposing our quality on them.
It'll also mean we can't draw them in the RO16 again, at least. I hate playing them, but if we have to face them, it's better to do it in the groups and at least eliminate the possibility of drawing them in one of the knockout rounds. It's in a two-legged knockout round that their shithousery and style of play really shines.
Give us a good chance to practice working around teams with a low block. Also I’d love to fucking see simeones face when we batter them (still not got over that loss)
I agree, especially now we have Thiago and Kieta is playing more regularly. We should be able to break them down much better.
Having to put up with Atletico shithousery AND fly to Russia with fuck all turnaround time between games... absolute nightmare
Ay, would rather keep it "local" and keep travel down.
Exactly. My preference would be to draw Ajax, Salzburg and either Brugge or Rennes
Brugge so we can meet up with Mr. Nasty
Fuck that's a group I do not want - Atletico, and a million miles to Russia, plus a better than credited Danish team.
Lot of travel with Russia added, but apart from Atletico the other teams aren't tactically a worry.
Lots of travel in this environment is a problem though, and Atletico home and away are a problem. Middy aren't going to beat us, but I think they could cause more issues than people initially think.
