I'm looking for a puzzle. It's the shape of a big pill. It's one with a hidden chest inside or some opened space? I never saw the inside its encased metal and a maze like box? Pulling on one part, shifting and turning, pushing it back it and pulling and turning more. I can't seem to find it nor the name of what it would be.
I saw it many years ago at a store in the "Brain Teaser" section.

Sounds like you may be describing a maze box. I've only seen the 3D print version, though I assume they've been available for a while.
A cryptex is different, that requires lining up the set of rings, then the two halves slide apart.
The Maze Box looks great and definitely not as expensive as some others. Hopefully I can find one that won't be solved in 5-10 minutes.
