Best Buy computer overheating

Hey everyone I bought a cyberpowerpc computer from Best Buy with a Gaming X Trio and i9 10900k and it overheats pretty bad, the cpu gets to 99c when in games and the GPU can stay cooler but still pretty hot. The cpu has an AIO from cyberpowerpc in it so I figured it would be able to stay cool but the only way I can keep it cool is to take the side panel off and have my box fan beside it. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I can do to keep it cool like buy more case fans or something? The Best Buy model is

CyberPowerPC - Gamer Supreme Gaming Desktop - Intel Core i9-10900K - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 - 1TB SSD - Black

I heard many problems about this particular Pc overheating. It looks like the airflow in the case is bad. Upgrading the AIO would be pretty good, it needs at least a 240mm, 120mm for that kind of CPU is way too low. Also, only the fan in the back should be exhaust and the fans at the front should be set as intake. There are also a few people saying to try turning off MCE (multi-core enhancement) bios. That by default it is set on with ASUS motherboards. (Overclocking is turned on)

Ok I'll try that and hopefully there's enough room for a 240mm aio in the case, I might end up having to buy a whole new case lol

Yea, a 120mm (single fan) AIO is not enough for a 10900k. Im not sure why they even sell it like that. They should only put 240mm coolers in prebuilts with that CPU

Interesting. Did your unit come with stock fans? Do you know what case it came with? Also - which AIO did you get? Was it the 120mm single fan unit? I’m no computer specialist by any means but what I read is that the i9 / 3080 run pretty hot so it’s recommended to have a bigger cooler in there. I bought the Corsair i510i 360mm liquid cooler in hopes that it doesn’t overheat..

yeah it's the single fan cyberpowerpc brand AIO, Idk what case model it is, but the fans in it are Cyberpowerpc brand ones, 120mm I think, I just tried turning the fans around so they would be intake instead of exhaust and it didn't help just made it like 2 degrees cooler. I ordered a 3 pack of fans from amazon I'm going to try to put those in and see if it helps at all. I might end up having to buy a different AIO also I suppose

Ya, may need to upgrade the AIO. Let us know how it goes when you install the fans.

Get at least a 240mm AIO. If you dont know how to install just have Best Buy do it for you.

Usually their prebuilts have a push/pull fan setup on the radiator. I changed mine that I had from bestbuy to just a push and it improved cooling. The way they had it, it just kept heat in the radiator
