Cauliflower wings with hot sauce
^^This^^. Now I want some!
Tempura cauliflower is really good. You can also roast it in the oven after marinating it. There are recipes online for cauliflower "steak." You can also make cauliflower fried "chicken." I used to hate cauliflower until I discovered how versatile it is.
I agree with everyone else but if you in for some mexican roast the cauliflower for a bit then put it in some mole and you can even make some mole tacos.
You can eat the leaves too! They need quite a bit of cooking, fry them off with garlic and sesame oil and s little bit of water in a low heat and serve with tofu, so good.
Make it into alfredo sauce with some garlic, lemon juice, nutritional yeast and either tofu or raw nuts.
If you have a food processor, rice it and freeze it. Toss a handful or two in your smoothies to give them a frosty texture.
Oh man, wish I had that problem right now.
Love me some cauliflower steak, buffalo cauliflower bites and riced cauliflower.
Also a fan of raw cauliflower florets on my salads too
This is my base recipe for buffalo cauliflower bites. Obvs use plant based milk and ACV instead of buttermilk and homemade vegan butter. They’re so crispy delish! I dip in buffalo sauce instead of coat so they don’t get soggy.
Cauliflower steak, you can find any “recipe” for. Just cut an inch slab from the head, brush with olive oil and spices of choice (I use a garlic salt herb mix and onion powder), bake at 400 for 15-20 mins on each side. Voila
Riced cauliflower is just as easy. Use a food processor to blend it to rice sized pieces and sauté in a bit of oil.
Have fun and enjoy!
You can also just eat it raw if you are lazy or if you still have some left after making a dish.
Vegan cauliflower cheese, can't beat it 😎
Cauliflower po’Boy - I always use just half a head for that.
White beans, potatoes, cauliflower, roux based "cheese" sauce (basically a bechamel with nooch) Full plate of beige food!
I like to make a bastardized minestrone style soup with celery, onion, carrots, zucchini, and whatever extras which is often half a cauliflower. I just chop it pretty small.
Cauli buffalo wings
Roast that son of a bitch. coat it in whatever you like, mustard, BBQ whatever. If you've got half a cauliflower you've got everything.
Except for the other half of the cauliflower I guess.
