New Player CAS Mouse Issues
Hey all, I just picked up the Sims 4 base game and am really excited to check it out as a returning player. That said, I'm having some issues with the my mouse in CAS mode.
There are three main symptoms: 1.) I can't easily rotate the camera to the left. The game for some reason fights me and tries to force the camera to rotate right when I drag left. 2.) When I try to manipulate a feature, the game wants to either drag to an extreme or will manipulate along both axes at once rather than just the x or y. 3.) It almost seems like the game is hyper sensitive to any sort of rotation. For example, I can keep my mouse stationary and just rotate a little and can see that the game is interpreting those rotations as x and y movements.
I'm on an iMac 2019, 10.15.7. I've done some research on this and the primary suggestion was to disable the Origin In Game overlay. Sadly that hasn't worked for me. I've tried repairing, uninstalling, messing with sensitivity settings, and even swapping out mice. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

This sounds quite like an old reshade problem— are you sure you don’t have an old reshade in there? Take out any mods you might have.
Apparently some people say it might be the windowed/full screen mode you’re playing on? Other than that, I’m really not sure.. origin in game is normally the culprit behind that one :/

I'm not sure, where can I go to check? I'm on a fresh copy of the game with no mods.
Edit: I haven't messed with windowed / full screen yet, I'll give that a try.
Edit 2: So Windowed mode does seem to help slightly. I still can't rotate the camera to the left and rotating my mouse at all basically causes the game to think that I want extreme x/extreme y, but if I hold my wrist super still I can kinda sorta manipulate features haha.
Edit 3: I think the same issue with not being able to move the camera left is the same issue with the features. If I drag one way, the game wants to fight me an drag in the opposite direction.
