Magisk manger forces you to update to 8.0.2 when you try to install 7.5.1.

It works fine for me. No problems it's just manger that was updated magisk is running fine.

Your missing this step in the guide
To add a second Pogo App see Step 7.
Step 7 only talk about using the JoyStick app .

Best guide that I ever seen. One quick note, the dekoder web site has the new and improved gps joystick and with team icons, it has all the features of the newer versions.

Yes, if I read right you tell the version of the dekoder website is an older version than the two first ones, pardon me if I am wrong.

It should work for Ingress and Wizard United. You should use a separate Google account. I heard from people who played Ingress if you level up too fast, they can ban your account because they know you are spoofing. I am not too sure about the flopped Harry Potter game.

could you possibly make a video on the steps? I'm getting lost at changing to download mode... it just stays on "Downloading do not turn off target"

The video will require you to send me an Ebay Gift card equal to the amount for a new or used device that is the same as your's. So far, no one has agreed to do this. If you don't want to do this, I suggest you spoof with PGSharp No Root method because it's a lot easier.

Is PGSharp still official pokemon go? Like can I trade with my nephew/my own account to get the pokemon I want?

Hi is there any chance of getting banned with this method? I will be careful when spoofing my location of course and will wait a few hours in-between but aside from that is there any chance?

If you're spoofing/cheating, you have a chance to get a ban. This Root Method #1 is the lowest chance and least risky, but you never know when Niantic will detect it. Once they detect Smali Patcher, you will get a ban. If you're not prepared to lose your main account, you should play on a new account.

I am not new to Spoofing but since Android 10 I just cannot spoof anymore.
Had to switch Phones and now I cant get it to work. Saw Smali Patcher finally got a 7.0+ Release and decided to give it a try. Its all pretty familiar and still I am hitting a wall with Location Update Failed (12) by using your Guide.
Using Android 10, November 2020 Security Patch, Magisk 22.0, Magisk Hide active like in the Guide + Magisk itself hidden. Used Smali Module with Mock Locations, GPS is set as the Guide described. GPS Ninja App (downloaded from the Website, not systemized) is set up as described in your Guide but it still requires me to set it as a Mock Location in the Dev Settings. I guess its related to that? But the Smali Patcher should hide this from PoGo.
Would be thankful for any input <3

You need to add GPS Joystick into Mock Locations in Developer Options as stated in the guide.

Right, thats what i do :) Sadly I then get Failed to detect Location(12) in PoGo.

Hey guys! I'm with a Android 10 & MIUI 12 device (Poco X3) rooted and with Magisk 20.4 working perfectly, but I have a doubt.
When I first open Smali Patcher, it has both "Mock Locations" and "Mock providers" options to check, since I'm looking for only using the GPS Joystick over "Mock Locations" in Developer Settings, what options should I check to generate the module?

Try with both, but "Mock Locations" is mandatory. Let me know if Smali 7.3 works for you because I was thinking on getting the POCO M3.

You swipe down from the top of your screen to see the quick notifications/settings menu. You swipe down on that menu then you can see which icon does what. One of them is your Location/GPS that looks like a tear drop or balloon. You press and hold down on it, you change the settings according to part #4,
