Beautiful tribute I love the ribbon. Was it difficult/ expensive to make? I feel like that could be a successful small business if you wanted it to be..l I feel like my family would definitely buy that if posssible. We lost our mom and my dad his wife nearly 23 days ago. So sorry for your loss op. Praying for healing for both of us

I'm so sorry for your loss.
It wasn't too hard to make. It is just plywood cut out with a jigsaw and painted pink. I put roofing nails in the edges and wrapped the pink LED lights. around them.
Overall breakdown of the cost of the job:
$35 for the plywood
$12 in spray paint
$18 for the led wire lights for the ribbon
$80 for the 4 floodlights.
It's worth noting that the floodlights are programmable by your phone and can actually be any color. So I'll be using them at Christmas time. I always put on a big Christmas light display. Christmas was my wife's favorite time and she loved my light show.

You're very skilled Sir - so talented. I don't think many people could have done what you did, I think you should feel so proud of yourself. I'd love to have that in my front yard.

My mom loved Christmas too... particularly making it special for her kids or grandson. And life your wife, she loved the snow too. My dad said my mom said before she past to Heaven that she hoped to see the snow one more time... I had to wipe away tears even as I typed that. Preying for healing for both of us...

I lost my wife in July after a 31 year on and off battle with breast cancer. She fought 3 rounds of it and received a terminal diagnosis in February of 2016. We usually do the Relay for Life walks each year. This year I wanted to do more. So for the month of October my house is lit up with pink led floodlights. I built the pink ribbon and wrapped it with pink LED lights for the front yard.
