I don't think anyone actually thinks ex are 1:1 with chaos.

Actual trading price appears to be about 45c (at time of posting) once you scroll past the first 100 meme listings or so. Which is still incredibly low, to be fair.

Usually they want to reduce the avg price on sites like poe.ninja and then profit from other people pricing them too low. Happens all the time every league.

True enough but I hesitate to call a listing of 420ex for 69c a price fixing scheme.

sirusplayerOP•

Yeah, but when this happens to exalts the prices of everything listed in exalts goes haywire...mirrors are one extreme, but imagine a newbie dropping one now and checking for how much he should sell?

2
Autate•

No but no one want to buy some atm or use them at all because of the volatility and the ''real'' market value atm is unknown and therefore since ex was already dropping 20% since last night sitting at 45c this morning it will kill them. The market won't come back for ex. Just happy i sold my 80ex at 60c 2 days ago.

Yea they should be 2:1

It's one of streamer and his followers. Hope he get banned for this stupid trick. I don't know why though, fishing viewers?

He is doing it atm on stream:

I’m spamming all of them for all their exalts over and over

Hope he get banned for this stupid trick

For doing what? The same thing hundreds of people have been doing for years and years. Highlighting the terrible weaknesses in this awful trading system.

4†
LoLbastard•

I mean he also "DDOSed" trade site down for a moment because traffic.Do you think that's the right way to protest trade system?

-5
DartTheDragoon•

Is there evidence he personally DDOSed the trade site? He'll get banned soon enough just like the people who have accidentally DDOSed the trade site.

Did he call for others to DDOS? They will both get banned.

But listed items for sale and not selling them has never been is well within the rules, no matter how dumb those rules are.

I do think hundreds of people grouping together to protest the trade system well within the rules is the perfect way to protest.

LoLbastard•

Dude has +1000 viewers last time I checked. What do you think happends when example all of those viewers list their exalts at that price same moment? Then there is us which is trying to buy all of them? Ofc he didn't personally himself DDOSed trade site down but if he recommend to his viewers do so, it's a bullshit trick for all other players in Poe. It's a bit different if some basic nerd trying to price fix exalt himself alone.

He is currently live and still playing...

3

Yeah I think I got jebaited, his screen just went straight to a "banned" screen without alt tabbing, then he went back to playing.

lmao

I hope he'll get banned. Those people are breaking the game for normal players.

I hate this price fixing, because it added noise to Ex price drop.

1
pr13st1Hierophant•

It's fine it was only 30 ignores.

1
PathOfMemez•

Thanks for that useful information. We all here thought that GGG made exalts raining from the sky. You really saved the day.

realkrava•

It's player interaction. So don't cry.
