Is there any buzz about DR10 in the medical community? How serious of a discovery is this? Lots of "cure" claims going around these days...

I don't know yet, but I think it's interesting enough to keep tabs on the issue

It certainly sounds "too good to be true", but the Venezolan authorities seem to be taking it dead seriously, and are supposedly officially presenting it to the WHO.

Here's an article (in spanish) of the "National Academy of Medicine of Venezuela" which remains somewhat skeptical and points at specific unclear points but otherwise does echo the same details that Maduro made public.
