Looking for a decent Motherboard to round this out.

Build Help

###Build Help/Ready:

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Yes

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

Gaming

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

1080p 144fps High/Medium (I appreciate what I'm looking to buy will most likely knock this out of the park)

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

1500/1800

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

UK

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

Please note I already own all of the Storage drives, the Case and Two sticks of 16GB RAM and have them there for compatability, so take around £400~ off the price on PCPartPicker.

Provide any additional details you wish below.

I'm looking to upgrade my entire rig, I'm currently running a Ryzen 1500 on an AB350 ASRock with a GTX 1070, 16GB of Ram and a 650W PSU.

My PC is around 3 years old now and I've got a little bit of savings that I can spend so my main idea was to buy some decent parts now to somewhat future proof my rig for the next 2/3 years. Given the release of the new Ryzens and NVIDIA Cards i figured now might be the best time.

So far I'm happy with the CPU and Ram choices, I initially was waiting for the new Ryzens to come out but given the price/performance I figured the older chip-set for a similar price was better. And another 16GB of the same type of RAM i have now would give me 32GB, 16GB hasn't felt like too little but given I'd like to future proof this for the next 3 years I figure i can afford it.

I chose a Noctua Heatsink as I've heard good things about their brand in general, currently I'm running the stock Ryzen fan on my PC and while I am pretty impressed in terms of a stock fan, My PC has had some heating issues when playing certain games like PoE (I can hit around 80C on some games).

I don't plan to Overclock my CPU at all, I tend to leave my CPU at the defaults but I will be using the XMP Profile on my RAM.

The PSU is sort of a hold over, I currently have a 650W EVGA and given the next leap in cards most people recommend 750W I figured I'd upgrade, I was initially looking at an 850W PSU but then I saw the 1000W one was only a little bit more expensive, Not too sure on this one yet though.

I'm making this post as I'm struggling with a motherboard, in the past I've basically gotten the cheapest one I could find that fit my chipset (currently have an AB350 ASRock), It's been fine but I can't say Its been perfect, it's had some issues with having to update the firmware and does sometimes drop my RAM Overclocking. I've seen quite a few people recommend the B550's but I'm basically stumped as to what to get.

With regards to a graphics card, Like pretty much everyone I'm basically waiting for the Third party RTX 3070 at this point and hoping they're not too expensive and all sold out, I'm set on getting an NVIDIA Graphics Card and I doubt you'll ever get better value for money then that unless the 2080 TI drastically drops in price.

I'm not deadset on a timeframe here, My current Pc is holding up pretty strong when it comes to the majority of games I play with only some having major issues like PoE.
