Rules for PhotoFavors
-
No nudes or adult topics. There are plenty of subreddits for that!
-
If you need a professional photo for a professional gig, then you should probably hire a professional photographer and pay them professional rates.
-
Be as descriptive as possible in your request. Things like:
- woman looking at a stained glass window
- the Eiffel Tower from below
- an old factory with broken windows
- a snowbound cabin
-
Thread prefixes might help stand out on people's Reddit feeds - [Photo Request] Can anyone get a photo of a giant redwood tree?
-
Do we need to say nothing illegal? Ok: Nothing illegal depicted or required to shoot the photo.
-
Request may also want to specify if a mobile phone photo would suffice or if a higher resolution camera is desired.
-
Permissions: don't shoot photos of children without permission from parents.
-
Rights: These need to be worked out between the Requester and Favor Photog before hand. Baseline assumption would be non-exclusive rights.
-
General idea is that this would be free of charge, so keep in mind that a Requester shouldn't be too demanding of a "Favor Photographer's" time.
More to come
