How can conservatives support a sitting president denigrating the election and making an effort to halt counting of lawfully cast ballots?

I think this was a remarkably irresponsible thing to do - even Fox News called him out on it. In the end...this sort of last ditch attempt to discredit the vote isn't going to resonate with anyone except Trumpists - not conservatives...but those people who subscribe to his cult of personality.

I voted for Trump, I wanted him to win, however I don’t support this nonsense. Republicans did way better than expected, it’s looking like we won’t lose the house.

The plan from the beginning should have been to get more people to vote early. 2nd place is the first loser and we need to do better in the next 4 years.
