A severe dragon infestation

Good morning fellow Rimmers,

I have a severe dragon issue going on and I simply don't know why. Two days ago I was walking from Winterhold to Falkreath. Just south of the standing stones I get jumped by 4 dragons, all at the same time (highest number at the same time yet). While I was cleaning out my loin cloths and checking followers not one, but 6 more dragons one after the other attack. That's 10 dragons in less than 10 or 12 minutes! I have 4 followers (I'm checking out modded followers) and there was so many dragons bones, scales and teeth I had to leave some behind; we were all full.

Yesterday, I can't walk for more than 5 or 6 minutes with 1-3 dragons attacking me. I don't know what's causing it. I don't have any sort of dragon mod installed. I'm not playing on hardcore. Does any one here have an idea why this is happening?

those dragons might have spawning point that get moved very often. they also seem to respawn very often too. my first encounter with this problem is when i went to Dawnstar and then to Dragonbridge. since then everywhere i go there are dragons. there will also always be 2-3 dragons at Dawnstar and Dragonbridge

to my knowledge there isn't a way to fix this, so you just have to keep killing them

I know how to fix this. You need the {Unofficial modder's patch} this isn't caused by your mods per say, but because of large amount of .esp being loaded this causes the game's papyrus engine to go coucou spawning multiples instead of spawning 1 and rolling to whether or not spawn a dragon multiple times.

I feel like i have this and I don’t even mod. I fast travelled to Dawnstar once and got attacked by two dragons and a giant at the same time. I had to reload my save cause too many villagers died. 😂
