OKC advice, please

I have interviewed for, and believe I will be offered, a job in Oklahoma City, OK. This job is with my current employer and is a fairly decent promotion.

I currently live in the DFW area, but have lived all over the country. If I could, I'd move somewhere with a cooler climate, but if I want to move upward in my career, this is probably a good decision.

What's it like in OKC? What is housing like? I will rent, not buy - are apartments reasonable? Any general info would be appreciated.
