Alcohol is a drug. Caffeine though is as much a drug as taking a lap in a backyard pool is training for the Olympics. Personally I never felt anything from caffeine.

Try strong coffee. Or caffeine pills if you really want to feel the effects. Then prepare to feel rather awful.

When I first drank coffee, all I felt was not sleepy. Caffeine isn't a stimulant in the classical sense like adderall/meth/coke where dopamine is released. All it does is replace adenosine in your brain, which builds up over the course of a day to tell you your sleepy/getting sleepy. Blocking adenosine does promote more natural dopamine activity, but not any level that you couldn't produce naturally unlike coke that produces 300% more dopamine than sex(the highest dopamine producing activity) or meth which causes 1200% more. I don't know how much adderall causes but it does keep it in your neurosynaptic pathway a lot longer than natural so when it wears off your dopamine is 'tired' so to speak and you feel kinda crappy.

By replacing adenosine you don't feel sleepy. And that's really the only effect I've ever felt from it, maybe a touch more focused, but I've NEVER felt a comedown from even 3 cups of strong coffee.

Im not sure how much caffeine tea has compared to coffee, But I imagine it's less. All I'm saying is it is a drug and if you don't use it properly you can definitely harm yourself.

Coffee has about twice as much caffeine as black tea, and 4 times as much as green tea. source

I'm sure there are other teas that have a lot more caffeine in them, but there are also coffees that have a lot more caffeine in it, so this is just a sample guide. If DJBJ had 7 cups of coffee in a 2-3-hour period, he'd be flying off the fucking wall, then would feel the horrible caffeine hangover (assuming standard-to-low tolerance to this drug).
