Fed up and need help

Edit: Figured it out! A mod called Divine people of skyrim: Etherium was not allowing me to join the DB. Thanks for all the help. I will leave this post up just incase. I had to 100% delete the mod as disabling it di not help.

I have tried

-Disabling all of my mods

-clearing system cache

-Resetting Astrid

-Doing Vanilla start

-Breaking into the abandoned shack

-Multiple other things

Astrid WILL NOT kidnap me. The courier WILL NOT give me the We know letter. I try to use alternate start to just spawn in the DB, but all Astrid says is "Brother". She will not give me quests or interact with me in anyway.

I asked my wife to try and join the DB and they wont kidnap her either.

The list of mods are pretty standard and load orders are fine. My friend and I start xbox parties together and we all play and talk together, he was able to join the DB with no problems.

If I spawn in the DB astrid wont talk to me and all of the other members just stand there staring at eachother talking about past contracts. They dont sleep or eat.

Every other quest ive tried seems to be ok. JUST the DB is glitched or something.

I know this is a common issue, but after about 15 new characters in a row and reloaded saves and me doing everything I can to make it work, it just simply doesnt.

Yes ive looked online but nothing seems to help. Currently re installing the game. If that doesnt work then I give up.

Idk what else to try.
