Trump has placed the US military under the control of his loyalists. He's firing anyone on his team who looks for work elsewhere. A vaccine for the coronavirus has been found by researchers in Germany, and Trump is taking credit as the US president who stopped the virus. The vaccine is still being tested, and won't be marketed until December. More than 60,000 new cases are being reported daily. Bill Barr, US attorney general, is pursuing lawsuits in the states to challenge voting results. No proof of fraud has been found, and the courts are throwing out Barr's cases. The AG is supposed to represent the American people, not solely Trump. Ballot counts continue, and Biden currently leads by more than 5 million votes. Biden is pressing forward with his transition to the presidency, and the leaders of other countries have been congratulating him. The leaders of countries that include China, Russia and Turkey have been silent, however. Trump has openly admired these men, and he appears to be bent on joining their club.
