Is Forsaken still worth it to get exotic gear?

I understand a lot of content is vaulted but it seems like a lot of exotics are tied to owning it. Not sure if im missing out too much by not owning it. I recently bought beyond light.

Seems like Xur sells a lot of forsaken exotics.
