Is it possible to get the stepped pitch shifted mode to lock in some way to a clock coming into the cv in?

* I find I love recording the blooper with a clock cv from my modular. So I record normally and it loops perfectly in time, But obviously when I change the pitch up or down, the speed also changes so its suddenly out of time. Is there any way to be able to do this but keep the new pitch?
