Hello, fellow Australian.
Help a cobba out haha
Well, the red one says suitable for cheese-breathers and the green one says suitable for vegans.
I don't think those calculations are very accurate. Protein content varies a lot with soil and farming methods.

They are probably different types of lentils: red vs. green vs. brown etc. all have differences.
They’re both Brown Lentils
I'm pretty sure this just depends how well drained the product is when the kcal/macros are calculated. I've seen it with similar products where, depending on the company, they will be more or less thoroughly drained and therefore have different calorific values
Yeah of course but its a 37 calorie different, that's more than just different proportions of water/salt dont you think?
No, it’s about how hydrated the lentils on different brands. The same dried lentils has the same macros. Adding water that has 0cal but chonky (quite substantial in mass), makes hydrated lentils *with the same mass has different macros depends on the water absorbed along the process
EDIT: after *
