Are Dallas interested in Facundo Campazzo?

Rumors/Speculation

Argentinian fan here. Argentinian and Spanish media are saying his arrival on the NBA is practically a done deal, but aren't disclosing the team (only that it's a Western Conference franchise), and I know Dallas had expressed interest in him recently.

This could also be one reason why the Mavs traded Seth Curry, having a replacement coming. Does anyone here know anything else about it? The Mavs seem like the most likely destination right now.

We (Spurs fan here) are in the same situation, or even worse, so I doubt we sign him.

Doubt it. We drafted Terry and have Brunson still.

His buyout with Madrid is $6M or so, and the team can only pay $900k or so iirc - he’d have to cover the rest out of pocket. So he would have to get a much larger contract than Mavs will likely be able to hand out, for it to make sense.

Probably San Antonio. They were interested in him too. Mavs have an enough guards on the roster.

I'm a Spurs fan (I come in peace). We have like 5 point guards right now, and upwards of 10 guards, counting outgoing free agents. I really, really doubt so.

I stand corrected! I think the teams in that report were Dallas, San Antonio, and Minnesota. So maybe Minnesota?
