Cutting nails

does anyone have good ways they cut their babies nails? i really struggle with it and i’ve had someone cut them before and she was extremely rough with my glider and i’d feel safer and happier doing it myself. my glider is really hard to handle and i don’t want to hurt her and she stubborn and doesn’t like being held that much. if you have any ideas please let me know
