Can someone tell me if PS5 saves are region locked?

As some of you might remember PS4 saves were region locked, did any1 had a chance to test if they still are on ps5? There is situation in Europe with Russian discs unable to upgrade to ps5 versions (AC valhalla and watchdogs legion) I'm returning my Russian copy and wondering if I will be able to run saves on EU copy?
