An angel or?

This happened when I was younger I can't remember exactly how old I was, but I'll do my best to be accurate in telling this. This happened to my grandma & she told it to me. Anyways on with what happen. So one day my family & I were at my grandparents house because that was the gathering spot. I had probably had at least 4 younger cousins present there too. So being a loving grandma my grandma went to get us all McDonald's. We stayed back with whatever adult(s) were watching us. The closest McDonald's was about a 5 minute drive from her house, so she decided to go by herself. So she drove there and everything was normal and as she got out the car to go inside to order she noticed a man presumably homeless with his dog sitting outside the McDonald's near the door. Him and my grandma exchanged a few words back and forth and the kind lady my grandma is she offered to buy the man food. He agreed and thanked her. She proceeds to go inside and order all of our food and the mans. When she got back to the house she had extra food... She started telling us about this man she had seen and had a conversation with outside the McDonald's & even offered to buy him food. She said when she walked out the store to give the man his food, he was nowhere to be found. Him & his dog were gone. Literally vanished into this air basically. Let me give you the area surrounding this McDonald's. It's off an interstate, one of the busiest & dangerous interstates we have in my city. Around there was only a semi truck, truck wash across the street, some closed tires shops a bit down the road and further down that road would lead you to the houses that are farther south of the city where they're so far you lose cell reception. And on the other side of the underpass of the interstate which would take a person like 2 minutes to get to from the McDonald's was a convenience store and across the street from that was the DPS. It would make zero sense for him to leave not only because a nice lady is inside McDonald's buying him food, but because there really isn't much place to go. Now I know you might be thinking well maybe he wanted something from the convenience store that's on the other side of the underpass.. and yeah maybe. But the thing is this wasn't just stand alone McDonald's. This McDonald's was also connected to a Love's Gas station and even at that inside the Love's was a Subway. So if this man needed anything it wasn't worth the time or energy to leave when he had whatever he needed for the most part right there. My grandma didn't take long inside getting the food so if he had took off during the time she was inside by the time she got back outside she would of seen him and his dog wherever in the distance. But they were nowhere to be found. She explained that to her, it felt as if the experience had been a test of God or something. Like a test to see what her action and response would be to a homeless man that just wanted some food. Like if God was testing her to see if she'd act on buying the man food or just avoid him. I'm not personally religious, but listening to this podcast now has made me realize maybe not everything has to do with religion, but weird unexplainable things can and do happen. We'll never know what exactly that man was or what the meaning of it was, but whether or not that man was there to accept the food at least my grandma chose not to just ignore him.
