*Q. How do I know if I have a good professor or not?

Go to ratemyprofessor.com

*Q. Where can I find good and cheap pizza?

I recommend 2 Brothers at 25th street and 6th Ave for dollar slice pizza. Or Mike's at 23rd street and Lexington, right across the street from the 23rd street building.

*Q. Where are the financial aid/bursar/registrar's office?

In the Newman Library Building, 8th floor, you have to take the elevators there.

Baruch has many computer labs but the two biggest are the Library itself, and on the 6th floor of the Newman Library building which is called BCTC.

*Q. When will the escalators ever work?

When you graduate.

*Q. Where is the Gym located?

In the basement, by the turnstiles on the 24th street entrance.

*Q. Where can I buy my textbooks?

Although you can get you textbooks in the Bookstore, you can also go to Shakespeare's on 23rd street and Lexington, right next to Gramercy Star Cafe. It's in a art store called DaVinci's, in the back.

*Q. Where are the elevators located?

There are five elevators that stop at floors 2,5,8, and 11 (located on the 2nd floor by the only working escalator). There are three faculty elevators that go to every floor (located on the first floor by the Preforming Arts Entrance).

*Q. Are there any parks located by Baruch?

We have Madison Square Park (23rd Street & Madison Ave.) Union Square Park (14th Street & Union Square) and Gramercy Park on (22nd Street and Lexington)

Micphi

No love for the N/R stop at 23rd & Broadway?!

*Q. What is there to do in Baruch?

The Office of Student Life is on the 2nd floor across the foyer from the elevator, right in front of the escalators. You can join a club/organization, buy movies tickets for 8 bucks, catch a Broadway show, or find the newest events at Baruch.

*Q. Is there a way I can get my textbooks for free?

In a nutshell, no. But micphi said

Well, you can't do it for the homework assignments, since you can't renew the trial on the same e-mail account. It's only good for the text. However, you can buy the connect/aplia homework access without the book, and then just trial the book all throughout the semester with different emails since they expire every few weeks.
