[GLITCH] A minor bug I found.

GLITCH

There's a bug when you request troops.. there's a small delay between the moment you press the button and the moment your request appears in the clan chat

"Why is this a problem" you ask? If you log out during that delay (e.g. To go to ur alt account) you won't find the request from your first account

Most of the time, you can back to ur first account and still ask for troops again BUT there are times when the request is "used" (i.e. You can't request troops again) without actually showing the request in the clan chat

The bug is not game breaking.. I got used to it, but I thought I'd see if posting about it will do anything ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is already been discussed a couple of times.

More than a glitch is just a delay in the sync between the game and the servers. Just give it a few seconds before changing the accounts and that would work.

But yeah, it sucks sometimes when you're in the hurry.

It goes through when the game says “request was sent”

The ultimate source of truth in the game are what the SuperCell servers say is true. If you do something in your app, then log out or kill the app before you've synced up with the servers, the servers will have no way of knowing what you just did. This is a fundamental limitation of every application that is based on a client and server model.

There are some things that SuperCell could do to make things a little better for the user, but it's not within their power to solve this problem without allowing an application developer to have much more control over your physical device (which users tend to be resistant to). One thing that is popular with a lot of online games is to put a sync icon somewhere on the screen to indicate there are unsynced activities and (in some cases) even let the user click the icon to force a sync.

The more painful side of this is donating to your alt minutes before the end of the war, then switching before the troops “go”. You get to the alt, quickly jump into the war and hit attack, not checking because you know you just got troops from yourself.

It’s a painful loss.
