Google Maps update now has a house number data layer

Noticed this in the last 24 hours, when I zoom in anywhere on the map in different cities I can see house and building numbers.

Hmmm. I zoomed in and it showed numbers but not little boxes to denote houses. Kind of needs that to be useful. Wonder why its not on mine.

Same here. It’s the main thing keeping me on Apple Maps since being able to see the house boxes is crucial with finding houses at night

It uses ways more data so if you care about that sort of thing then use it sparingly. Otherwise go nuts!

Is your app updated? Sometimes updates roll out in different stages for different OS versions. If you're fully up to date, it'll probably come soon

Numbers are all over the place by mine, some missing, some in the middle of the road. Total mess.
I find the latest enhancements to Apple Maps are very accurate as you can see the exact building you need to get to.

same here. i just checked my own awkwardly laid out street and the numbers are all way out of place.

I had an order ro a street of townhouses and none,I repeat NONE of them had any numbers,thankfully this saved my ass from having to call the customer tgat left me no tip

So what am I doing wrong...? yesterday I opened maps and zoomed way in I can see the houses and numbers.... but last night when I was dashing and using maps on an actual delivery I couldn't see the houses and numbers... even when I was right in front of the house.
