Background

(from Wikipedia Japan/DeepL Translator)

  • The album title is a twist of Jippensha Ikku's "Hizakurige". According to Wajima, it is a reference to the "Three Evil Ways" in Buddhism. (via Wikipedia Japan/DeepL Translator).

  • The album cover features three members of the human chair dressed as yajikita (originally two) with the ukiyoe "Fifty-three Stages of the Tokaido" in the background; the music video for "Baptism" on the DVD "The Unfamiliar World" also features three members dressed as yajikita walking along the Tokaido road, with the Hell, and so on.

  • It is worth noting that the composer had been in charge of vocals until then, but in this album, Nakajima Nobu takes charge of vocals on the song "Michinoshi", which was composed by Kazushima.

  • In this album, Nobu Nakajima joined the band.

Reviews and Articles

"Noresore" automatically will sell you on what Nakajima brings to the table. The song starts out with an awesome snare rolling pattern, and his feel continues to pave the song's way all throughout. His larger fill right before a killer Wajima solo is equally impressive. The song is TONS of fun. At the very end of the song, the band basically takes the same vocal rhythms as earlier in the verses, but speeds it up with a new riff underneath it that adds a lot of depth to the song.

Sure the band still earns the their title of the Japanese Black Sabbath, with their own take on the Iommi school of riffing, especially during the opening track "Senrei", but its filtered with the essence of Led Zeppelin and the bluesy nature of early Deep Purple. Those bluesy licks during “Shinsei” and “Ishugaeshi” could have been on Led Zeppelin's Houses of the Holy.

The sixth song is "Evil Spirit". It starts off dark and doomy with strong drums and a dragging tempo, but then the tempo turns up-tempo and becomes powerful and thrilling. Mr. Suzuki's wicked vocals are great. In the middle part of the song, the song goes into a powerful mid-tempo heavy rock mode, and then the tempo goes up again. Then, the tempo went up again, with an aggressive guitar solo backed by an undulating bass riff. The last song is a dynamic fin with powerful riffs and pounding drums.

い:The first riff also has a strange feel, not in a major or minor key.
I can't get enough of the lurid atmosphere, as if the jelly were almost melted. I'm sure this would make the shaded clay figurines dance.
The lyrical world of this piece is like the one in "Big Bang at the Edge of the Village" ("Decadent Art Exhibition"), isn't it?
嘉: It would be impossible to translate the lyrics of this song into a foreign language for a foreigner to understand.

Night Flight, A sequel to "Space Monster", I guess. Theremin-like sound, which appears frequently in the introduction and in the song, is very effective. Probably, it's produced by VCF oscillation, but it has a nice sound with very wide amplitude. It has a nice sound with wide amplitude. I'm jealous. The song itself is like running through a city at night. The song itself is like running through a city at night, running to the end. It's in an odd time signature, but you don't feel it.
The connection between the previous song "Shinsei" and this one, I think it's a nice touch.
